Marketing Project Manager

Description

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing a variety of project-based marketing initiatives across a variety of print and digital channels. Under the direction of the Director of National Marketing. The Marketing Project Manager will produce on-target deliverables with a high level of accuracy and commitment to stakeholder needs. Expert-level organization and communication skills will be necessary to manage the day-to-day interactions with internal and external stakeholders, representing all levels within the organization. The Marketing Project Manager will apply strategic marketing thinking to all new projects, and deliver outcomes that support the success of the organization within the competitive landscape.

• Designs communication strategy plans to be published both internally and externally, supporting marketing team initiatives and strategy.
• Supports the in-market Sales/Marketing team with a variety of new store requests, such as full asset rebrands, new market entry, and acquisition/development assets. Including: scheduling, attending, and delivering notes and action items consistently throughout the project.
• Provides data-driven recommendations to improve efficiencies across channels.
• Oversees and participates in the coordination of media sprints (pull data, manage photographer payments, track assets, upload content).
• Creates and delivers presentations to support marketing initiatives as needed.
• Defines project scope and prioritization through direct stakeholder communication, and establishes a timeline by coordinating resources internally, cross-functionally, and alongside external partners.
• Represents the organization in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers, vendors, and the general public.
• Supports the Director of Marketing through strategic analysis of program performance, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Delivers executable recommendations on vendor management, media management and branding consistency.
• Manages same store project-based marketing initiatives (signage, wayfinding, renovation etc) independently across multi-faceted print and digital channels, supporting a national portfolio of >285 rental communities across >10 markets.
• Owns the marketing production timeline and communication plan for all projects and interfaces directly with all stakeholders (both internal and external) regarding expectations and challenges.
• Collaborates regularly with the Design and Digital team to support key marketing initiatives (Media (photos, videos, 3D tours) acquisition, EA.com content, signage etc.)
• Research and identify trends and technologies in support of new production partners.
• Reports on and monitors media acquisition efforts including photo & video coverage, pace, and budget.

Requirements

Please note: Our current onsite work schedule requires attendance from Monday through Thursday each week, with remote work permitted on Fridays.

• Analytical. You see audits, data, and summary reports as a key resource, as they provide you with guidance and direction for your future decisions. You are comfortable researching trends, organizing data, and presenting your findings. Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheets and Google Analytics are tools you know how to leverage in order to successfully manipulate information into a user friendly format.
• Organized, Efficient, and Accountable. You are flexible and able to juggle the needs of changing business priorities. You multitask well, re-prioritize accordingly, and meet deadlines consistently. You have a keen eye for detail and pride yourself on delivering quality work.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field with at least 5 years of business experience.
• Knowledgeable. Through previous work, you’ve been exposed to digital and print marketing projects and have been involved in projects supporting the performance of a website. You don’t need to be an expert, but your experience with marketing campaigns is what will help you quickly transition into this position.
• Ability to multitask, be flexible, and manage multiple projects at once.
• Excellent / persuasive written and presentation skills.
• Significant project management experience delivering successful projects across a large organization.
• Team Player. You enjoy partnering with others —whether internal or external— in order to get work done and deliver great results.
• Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships (both one-on-one as well as in a team setting), and the ability to inspire, coach, mentor, and motivate.
• Comfortable with ambiguity / undefined situations. Moderate analytical skills are necessary with proficiency in Excel and Google Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of economic, financial, and accounting principles.
• Ability to think creatively when problem solving for new solutions.
• Strong Communicator. Your writing and speaking skills are clear and effective, demonstrating your ability to be articulate and understood. We want your thoughts and input, based on your research findings and competitive analysis!

Benefits

Salary: $83,000 - $101,000 per year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary 10.5% annual bonus is provided.

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
