Coordinate training schedules, venues, logistics, and attendance.
Build clear career pathways for key roles across RVG.
Support the creation of individual development plans and succession plans for high-potential employees.
Develop and implement a Skills & Competency Framework for all roles.
Promote and embed a coaching and mentoring culture.
Develop, review, and maintain L&D policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with teams, managers, and stakeholders to support capability and skill development across RVG.
Oversee all compliance learning and completion rates via the Learning Management System.
Support the induction process for new starters.
Lead new L&D-related projects aligned to organisational priorities and objectives.
Fully own the management and upkeep of the LMS.
Design, develop, or procure digital learning content to meet business needs.
Support the Director of People & Change in planning and managing the training budget.
Evaluate L&D interventions, reporting on effectiveness, KPIs, and return on investment.
Develop and maintain the Annual Company Training Plan.
Maintain the Compliance Matrix and ensure annual reviews with stakeholders.
Own and maximise use of the Apprenticeship Levy.
Produce monthly compliance reports and quarterly L&D KPIs for the board.
Advise on professional and academic qualification pathways.
Provide strong business partnering support, advice, and guidance on all L&D matters.
Assess capability and training needs across teams and departments.
Partner with the Head of HR in the annual Talent Review process.
Lead L&D projects and initiatives that support organisational capability.
Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and consultants.
Continuously refine and improve the induction and onboarding journey.
Design and deliver high-quality training programmes (induction, leadership, personal development, and more).
Select and manage external training providers as needed.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, with the ability to travel across the UK as required (business mileage reimbursed).
A proactive, supportive team player with strong stakeholder management skills.
Strong knowledge of MS Office and LMS platforms.
Skilled at building credibility and delivering practical, impactful solutions.
Exceptional organisational, planning, and communication skills.
Discreet, diplomatic, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Experience across both large organisations and SMEs, with an understanding of scalability and agility.
4-6 years' experience in Learning & Development.
Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving capability.
Proven experience developing teams, managers, and talent pathways.
Confident working autonomously or collaboratively.
