In this position you will work directly with home buyers and their Realtors to sell and close newly built homes, maintain model homes and communities to high standards, and meet or exceed customer service and sales performance goals. You will generate leads, nurture Realtor relationships, coordinate cross‑department meetings, and conduct competitive market analysis by visiting rival communities.
The position involves working in model‑home sales offices while complying with CDC COVID‑safety guidelines, as well as touring lots, homesites, and active construction areas where safety gear such as hard hats and safety vests is required. Employees may also be asked to perform duties outside the normal scope as needed.
Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in the state of employment and, where required, a real‑estate license. Prior sales experience is preferred, and an understanding of basic mortgage financing is advantageous.
Success in this role requires accountability for monthly sales targets, the ability to staff the model‑home sales office on a full‑time schedule including holidays and weekends, and strong social and communication skills. You must follow a planned sales presentation, quickly learn and convey product details, and adapt to change. Proficiency with computers for prospecting, follow‑up, and documentation is essential.
