Description
Exercise his duties in accordance with the requirements of the Building Control Act and other applicable acts and regulations in relation to the works. In the exercise of his duties, he shall act fairly and reasonably having regards to CAG’s specifications and requirements, all applicable relevant standards, Code of Practices and all relevant circumstances.
Provide all relevant endorsements required by CAG, BCA, other statutory authorities and agencies.
Liaise with project Stakeholders, Clients, other Consultants, Contractors, relevant Authorities.
The QP(S) shall liaise with the Superintending Officer (S.O.) but shall maintain their independence in respect of Statutory/Authority Compliance matters at all times, in accordance with the Building Control Act.
The appointed QP(S) shall manage the supervision team which shall have direct reporting channels to him.
QP(S) assigned under the works shall be required to report to and work on site as instructed by the S.O. from time to time during the Contract Period. The QP(S) shall, as a minimum, spend 2 days (i.e. 16 hours) per week on site and be responsible for the statutory roles required for all work packages and contracts for the work.
Submit prescribed reports, Certificates of Supervision of works, Certificate of Inspection and Certificate of Completion all other necessary forms and endorsements for works
