The successful individual will lead a Land Development team, building and managing key client relationships while operating with integrity and sound business principles. Responsibilities include setting vision, business planning, establishing goals, fostering open communication, and growing the practice. Project managers are expected to manage projects profitably, mentor staff, transition work to qualified personnel, and act as positive leaders. The role provides significant autonomy and the potential for a rewarding bonus program and future ownership.
The candidate must have at least 15 years of experience managing land development projects and hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. A strong network with architects, developers, land-use attorneys, planners, and land owners is essential, as are technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D and experience in business development, proposal writing, and budgeting. Effective, positive communication at all organizational levels and proven ability to mentor staff and manage resources profitably are required.
