Advise Senior Resident Engineer of contractor disputes and help use the administrative process to resolve.
Review contractor payments, assist the Senior Resident Engineer in reporting monthly on construction progress and financial health of projects, and elevate potential issues
Act as the day-to-day construction manager for assigned projects, reporting to the Senior Resident Engineer.
Assist the Senior Resident Engineer in Coordinating with Facility forces and other stakeholders to advance work in the most efficient manner possible while least impacting facility operations.
Understand the Contract and assist the Senior Resident Engineer in using its clauses to administer and enforce policy necessary to complete projects.
Oversee field staff – ensure that they are properly carrying out their functions of ensuring proper installation and advancement of construction and that they are filing the proper documentation.

Experience with Parks projects
Valid driver’s license required.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited College or University
In addition to night and weekend shift work, ability to stay late or come in early as needed
