The analyst supports sales and revenue teams with insights for deals, RFPs, and customer engagements, creating battlecards, win/loss analyses, and objection‑handling materials, and delivering real‑time intelligence when competitive threats arise. In addition, they analyze market trends and customer needs, identify SWOT elements, and contribute to strategic planning, product roadmaps and go‑to‑market initiatives. Regular reporting, executive summaries, and presentations to senior leadership, coupled with close collaboration with sales, marketing, product and leadership, ensure that competitive insights align with business priorities.
The Competitive Pricing Analyst gathers, analyzes, and synthesizes competitive and market intelligence to empower strategic decisions across the revenue organization. By delivering clear, actionable insights on competitors’ products, positioning, go‑to‑market strategies, and market movements, the analyst helps the company win more business and sustain a strong competitive position. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, curious, and adept at turning complex information into concise insights for senior stakeholders.
Candidates must have three to seven-plus years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, strategy or business analysis, strong research and analytical abilities, and the capacity to synthesize large volumes of data into concise insights. Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of large‑project pricing, and a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, data or analytics are required, along with excellent written and verbal communication and experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders. Preferred experience includes technology‑focused SaaS or enterprise B2B environments, familiarity with CRM, market research or BI tools, support for enterprise sales cycles, and a background in consulting or analytics.
Key competencies for success are a highly curious and proactive mindset, structured analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. The role demands comfort with ambiguity and evolving requirements while delivering clear, data‑driven recommendations.
