Commercial HVAC Technical Engineer

Description

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of large commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards and Singapore's safety regulations.
• Work with other technicians and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Liaise with clients professionally to explain problems, solutions, and maintenance tips.
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams, piping layouts, and control systems.
• Conduct routine servicing, testing, and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
• Independently identify root causes of system malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare service reports and update job records accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Competency in at least spoken Chinese is required, as we have to liaise with counterparts in China that are non-English speaking.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
• Mon-Fri, 8:30am – 6pm
• Certification in Refrigerant Handling / Air-Conditioning Maintenance is an added advantage.
• Minimum Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and refrigeration cycle is essential.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing and repairing commercial air conditioning systems.
