What you’ll do: Lead the maintenance department to manage competing priorities and deadlines, schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs and special projects, and work with the property manager on budgets and projects. Perform various repairs—including electrical, plumbing, pool, masonry, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, and appliances—prepare vacant units, complete work orders, maintain grounds, and provide 24‑hour emergency maintenance as needed.
What we need: At least three years of multifamily housing maintenance experience covering repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, and appliance installation. A valid driver’s license, EPA Universal/HVAC certification (required), and a Certified Pool Operator license (a plus) are required, along with the ability to work on‑call, evenings, and rotating weekends. Candidates must pass a pre‑employment background check and drug test and have a smartphone.
Job Details: The position is located at Dwell at Clearlake in Seabrook, TX, is full‑time, and offers an hourly salary range of $27.00 to $29.00. Sandalwood Management is seeking a Maintenance Lead to supervise the maintenance team and assist with general upkeep of the property.
Compensation and benefits: Pay is negotiable based on experience, with monthly renewal commissions and bonus opportunities.
