Coaches and mentors less experienced team members in other regions/Business Units (BUs)
Independently Completes VDC Coordination and Reality Capture processes with little supervision
Supports the implementation of Baseline and Enterprise VDC standards
Participates in BU office and department activities including orientation programs, training sessions, and peer group meetings
Combines all building discipline models into the coordination model
Communicates with internal and external project teams; facilitates meetings to resolve project issues, review schedules, or other project documentation
Utilizes 3D design software to identify, communicate, and resolve project challenges
Responsible for the quality and execution of day-to-day VDC project deliverables and processes; relays project issues and staffing and equipment challenges to the VDC Manager as needed
Utilize Reality Capture technology, such as laser scanning and drones, to support project deliverables
May assist in drafting project coordination schedule and reviewing with the VDC Manager
Responsible for 2-4 project VDC deliverables under little supervision
Assigns responsible party(s) for issue resolution; verifies and documents with meeting minutes, submittals, RFIs, and updated models
Collaborates closely with business development to ensure seamless integration with sales strategies including performance metrics on your assigned projects, pursuits, and client deliverables. Actively participates in opportunities to strengthen client, partner, and industry relationships that position Gilbane as the “Builder of Choice”

Strong proficiency with 3D software and ability to model, dissect, and leverage the software for construction purposes
Ability to read construction schedules and tie activities to VDC deliverables
Strong knowledge and proficiency with BIM and design software Knowledge of complex design concepts and integrated building components and systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while coaching and mentoring VDC engineers

Understands and applies Building Information Modeling (BIM) Standards and Specifications (BS&S) and BIM Execution Plan (BEP) on projects
Ability to prioritize project tasks to achieve project VDC deliverables deadlines
