The CapEx Coordinator develops and implements capital projects that align with OBE’s engineering standards. This role is ideal for an organized, technically skilled, proactive problem solver and is a vital part of the Engineering and Operations Team, offering a career‑building opportunity with an industry leader.
- Prepare business cases, project requests, and cost justifications for capital projects.
- Coordinate project schedules, tasks, and documentation.
- Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and project spending.
- Communicate with vendors to collect quotes, manage timelines, and support project activities.
- Organize site visits, installations, and equipment startup.
- Maintain up‑to‑date project trackers and reports for leadership.
- Ensure completeness of project files, safety requirements, and compliance documentation.
- Support continuous improvement and streamline project processes.

OBE seeks candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, excellent communication and organization abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks across cross‑functional teams are required. Experience with capital or technical projects, Lean or Six Sigma concepts, and proficiency in PLC/HMI programming, AutoCAD, and reading technical diagrams are preferred.
