Corporate Tax Manager

Description

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax professional to join a well respected and growing mid-tier accountancy firm. This role is ideal for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager ready to step up, or an experienced Manager seeking a fresh challenge. You’ll be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio, overseeing compliance, supporting on advisory work, and helping to develop junior members of the tax team.

• Liaise with HMRC on client matters and assist with resolving any tax queries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues across the firm.
• Provide high-quality corporate tax advice and technical support on a range of matters.
• Oversee compliance cycles and ensure work is completed within agreed timeframes.
• Manage the corporate tax compliance process, including reviewing tax computations, returns, and monthly tasks prepared by junior staff.
• Provide feedback and guidance to support the development of junior team members, including those based overseas.

• CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in corporate tax.
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
• Strong background in corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
• Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
