The Assistant Community Manager greets prospects, processes applications, manages leases and renewals, handles rent collections and evictions, and promotes resident satisfaction through effective communication and social media. The role also supports move‑ins, conducts market research, and ensures timely paperwork.
- Greet and qualify prospects using Lead Management Software.
- Assist prospects with applications, deposits, credit checks, and rental‑history verification.
- Show apartments, close sales, prepare move‑ins, and obtain resident signatures.
- Manage lease renewals, send notices, process move‑outs, and update management software.
- Collect rent, enforce lease terms, track fees, and initiate evictions when necessary.
- Respond promptly to resident complaints, questions, and service requests.
- Follow eviction procedures, including notice, court representation, and proceedings.
- Conduct market research, implement outreach marketing, and update competitive data.
- Maintain an active social‑media presence to enhance property visibility.

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer‑service or leasing experience; accounting experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license are required.

- Minimum one year of customer‑service or apartment‑leasing experience; accounting background preferred.

- Ability to sit for extended periods, climb stairs, lift up to 20 lb, and operate computer equipment.
- Comfortable working on‑site, outdoors, and in confined or elevated spaces.
