Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D methodology).
Pre-dispatch inspection and release for supplier components.
Review and approve PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and control plans for new and existing parts.
Drive localization and cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
Collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams for sourcing decisions.
Implement and monitor supplier quality assurance plans.
Conduct supplier audits for process capability, quality systems, and sustainability.
Conduct process audits and capability studies at supplier locations.
Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers based on technical capability, capacity, and compliance.
Track supplier performance metrics (PPM, defect rates, delivery adherence) and drive continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/production/industrial engineering.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, machining, sheet metal)
Continuous Improvement Mindset
Experience with ISO 9001
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
Familiarity with quality tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D.
