Demonstrate good, relevant land contamination/brownfield land experience in Phase 1 Desk Studies.

Field work experience would be an advance but not essential.

Knowledge and technical understanding of conceptual site models and generic level risk assessments for controlled waters (in the UK, surface water and groundwater) and human health risk assessments (CLEA tool) and using Soil Guideline Values (Environment Agency, UK).
Knowledge of groundwater modelling software ConSim/P20 would be an advantage
Ability to take initiative and work independently or within a team
CL:AIRE and CIRIA guidance for Asbestos, Petroleum Hydrocarbons in Groundwater and C4SLs.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Digital Data Management and sample scheduling, data transfer and statistics.
5+ years’ experience in conducting Phase I Site Assessment and Phase 2 intrusive Site Investigation, with experience in multiple site investigation techniques.
Proficient ability to interpret, review and analyse large and complex soil data.
Understanding of Indian environmental regulations.
