The Stock Readiness Coordinator inspects, packages, and repackages inventory, ensuring compliance with Army packaging standards and proper labeling. This role coordinates activities between the ISSA, the ASC Packaging Storage and Containerization Center, and work‑center leadership, enters inspection data into the Stock Readiness Data Portal, and collaborates with the Shelf‑Life Coordinator to manage expiration and extension processes.
- Conduct daily COSIS inspections to ensure items are issue‑ready and protected from degradation.
- Inspect and verify condition of MOP 50 Long Life Reusable Containers each month.
- Repackage incoming and outgoing material according to Army packaging requirements.
- Enter completed COSIS inspection forms into the Stock Readiness Data Portal (SRDP).
- Track certification and training dates for personnel performing COSIS inspections.
- Determine material expenses, draft annual budget memorandums, and request supplies.
- Manage inventory levels of packaging supplies to prevent depletion.
- Ensure pallets display correct markings and heat‑treated stamps per WPM compliance.
- Verify labeling of stock items complies with MIL‑STD‑129R.
- Coordinate with ISSA, ASC Packaging Storage and Containerization Center, and work‑center leadership.
- Collaborate with Shelf‑Life Coordinator on Type I and Type II items using SLES and visual checks.
- Enforce safety procedures, OSHA/EPA regulations, and wear required PPE (hard hat, respirator, protective footwear).

Work is performed in environments with dust, grease, chemicals, and sharp objects, requiring strict adherence to OSHA, EPA, and fire‑prevention regulations. Physical demands include standing for long periods, climbing, bending, lifting up to 25 lb routinely and up to 75 lb occasionally, and wearing protective gear such as hard hats, respirators, and safety footwear.
Candidates must hold a high‑school diploma or GED, be able to complete Pack1A, Pack1B, and Wood Packaging Material training, and maintain a valid Common Access Card and driver’s license. U.S. citizenship, a clean drug screen, at least three years of warehouse experience, and three years of packaging inspection or repackaging experience are required, along with basic motor and computer skills to operate government portals.

- Valid Common Access Card (CAC) and State Driver’s License; U.S. citizenship and pass pre‑employment drug screen.
