  • Monitoring performance trends and communicating improvement objectives for managers to action.
  • Collaborating with senior HS&E colleagues and business leaders to shape priorities and strategic actions.
  • Enabling effective risk management strategies, ensuring risk reduction measures are implemented and emergency preparedness is in place.
  • Investigating and reporting all HS&E incidents, near misses, and hazard observations, ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
  • Ensuring compliance with HS&E legislation, JCB policies, and international standards.
  • Developing and delivering a risk-based assurance plan across the business and supporting other areas as needed.
  • Identifying HS&E training needs and delivering appropriate training, supported by HS&E Coordinators where applicable.
  • You can represent the business professionally with internal and external stakeholders, with support from senior colleagues where needed.
  • Ensuring JCB HS&E Safety Systems and databases are working effectively
  • Advising management on cultural change initiatives and supporting strong HS&E governance.
