Design, review, and update comprehensive mine closure plans in accordance with latest industry standards, environmental regulations, and company objectives.
Work with site personnel and contractors to ensure the development of mine closure studies and site closure plans to meet project and regulatory requirements.
Project Manage required research for closure on a range of studies and scientific research projects, including field trials that address knowledge gaps in Closure Plans
Assist mine closure team in the development of closure designs and studies.
Assist in the development of business closure standards and procedures.
Coordinate development of completion criteria in line with closure outcomes
Support the functional team by providing information and guidance on Closure aspects at an operational site
Contribute to engagement with Traditional Owners, regulators, local communities and land holders to ensure stakeholder concerns and expectations are addressed
Undertake project planning and coordination for research and development projects.
Integrates with site teams to embed closure plan during operations to minimise future liabilities.
Assist with sampling and analysis work of mineral waste and soil as required to address knowledge gaps in landform design.

Experience across broad range of technical disciplines including mine planning, hydrogeology, geochemistry, landform design and evolution (highly desirable)
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
Extensive experience in mining; operations or consultancy
Demonstrated technical writing skills (Drafting mine closure plans, scope of work etc.).
Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mining, Civil or Environmental), Environmental Science, Geoscience, or similar
