Assist the admin team with the set-up and coordination of large or out-of-town jobs being executed by their team.
Work in the field with the technicians on difficult jobs or be a backup to the technician pool when the Service call demand is high.
Provide first-hand knowledge of repairs, anticipated hours, and parts needed to the sales team for accurate estimates on an as-needed basis.
Ensure the correct job materials are being ordered.
Visit high-profile customers as needed.
Perform pre-job walks for large service jobs to ensure job success
Perform annual reviews on technicians with the Service Manager.
Assist technicians to ensure all parts are ready and available for the jobs when they are scheduled to be completed.
First POC for incident reporting and ensuring all documents are submitted to safety
Resolve customer service issues as they arise.
Assure all Pueblo Mechanical and project-specific safety requirements are met to ensure a safe jobsite.
Reviewing JHA policy is being adhered to, and toolbox talks are being performed.
Addresses concerns related to the above directly with service technicians and provide training and coaching as needed.
Review Service tickets, paperwork, quality of work, and provide supervisory oversight of their technician team.
Assist by providing information and recommended training to the Service manager to get the correct training implemented to ensure the Service Department is competitive in our current and expanding markets.
Advise the Service Manager of the technician’s annual performance and meet with the technicians regularly to evaluate their work performance.
Ride with/work with technicians as needed based on work performance and training needs.
Develop individual training plans for each technician based on their skills.
Advise and assist with the progress and training of the technician pool.
Assist in the recruitment and retention of qualified technicians.
