Designer Estimator | Power

Description

• Perform quality audits of onsite work to ensure compliance with contract documents, design and construction standards, legislation, regulations, and network operating standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Offer high-quality engineering design and estimation services, including providing quotations.
• Oversee projects according to specifications, budget, and deadlines. Ensure resources are efficiently coordinated with the project plan.
• Provide detailed scopes of work, proposals, reports, handover packages and commissioning documents.

Requirements

ABOUT YOU You possess technical skills and practical experience in the power distribution field, whether as a qualified engineer or a trades professional transitioning into design. What is most important is your ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and deliver work that meets client expectations and safety standards.

• Trade or engineering background (e.g., Line Mechanic, Electrician, Cable Jointer).
• Familiarity with electricity distribution networks is preferred.
• Experience in designing and pricing for infrastructure or utilities is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
