Maintain strong relationships with asset managers and third party management clients regarding all strategic issues including relevant leasing decisions, budget processes and recommending strategy.
Develop and implement all leasing activities for a given portfolio of properties in accordance with approved budgets and asset plans.
Assist with asset and land acquisitions providing market knowledge as required.
Be aware of and take advantage of new business development opportunities for BGO to grow our leasing and property management platform.
Work collaboratively with the BGO team and be a brand ambassador.
Run financial analysis for leasing transactions, NER’s, understand and perform cash flow analysis, termination penalties, etc.
Coordinate the leasing effort with senior property operations and accounting teams at BGO.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the brokerage community and participate in broker events.
Establish deep relationships with tenant representatives ensuring contact on a quarterly basis.
Embrace and pro-actively support BGO’s culture, ESG and DEI Initiatives.
Complete the annual budgets for assigned portfolio working with property management on recommendations for required leasing capital plans and quarterly reporting/monthly reporting with asset management and third party clients

Relationship Skills – Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal relationship skills
Computer Skills – Advanced skills in Excel, Word, VTS, PowerPoint.
Experience – 7+ years’ of retail mid/large bay leasing experience in the GTA market;
Have strong negotiation skills, prepare and present lease documentation to prospective and existing tenants maximizing asset value, and ideally exceed business plan targets.
Strong understanding of lease documentation, directing associated teams during the deal process which will include drafting Offers/Proposals to Lease and negotiating Leases, Lease Amending and Extension Agreements; Consent to Assignment and Sublet documents with existing and prospective tenants
Organizational/Multi-Task Skills – Must be a self-starter with high degree of initiative, agility, creativity and flexibility. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving is required
Education – University degree and valid real estate license with RECO;
Police Clearance – A criminal verification check is required for employment.
Possess extensive knowledge of the New Development Pipeline (Current & Future) in the GTA.
Have in depth knowledge of all industrial markets across the GTA, fringe markets, recent market transactions, prospective tenants in the market, space availability, absorption, leasing trends, competitive product and development pipelines, etc.
