Assist in troubleshooting test failures
Support education of front-line team members on requirements
Support containment plan
Perform daily and weekly product testing as required for FGIA certification
Follow VPI process and procedure for in-line water testing
Actively support and participate in the company’s safety and health program.
Communicate results to Production and Quality leadership
Support collection of leading metrics and performing manufacturing system audits
Support training of front-line team members in manufacturing processes
Track and report failures and out-of-specification conditions
Support documentation as required for FGIA certification

Comfortable communicating in a professional manner with internal customers
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and techniques are preferred.

Ability to learn overall window fabrication.
Ability to learn VPI’s Quality Management System.
Basic computer skills, specifically: MS office products
