Detail-oriented, organized and relationship-focused Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to administer full-scope procurement for the assigned categories. This involves identifying potential suppliers, owning the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and managing supplier performance. This is a full-time, exempt position that works from our Wilder, KY offices 5 days per week.
The Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist will analyze the supplier lifecycle from current spend to supplier contracts and service to identify opportunities for improvement and then act on them. In support of optimization and making the best decisions possible, they will lead data analytics and dashboard management.
- Develop effective communication and processes with various teams across the organization, including the Purchasing Operations team, Center of Excellence, and branches
- Design specifics spend savings levers and targets, ensuring best practices across the procurement lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in category spend processes and supplier performance
- Aligns key stakeholders and suppliers for successful policy deployment implementation
- Establish targets/goals for the division and track category results, including monitoring KPIs related to external spend and supplier performance

Our Ideal Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist
- 3+ years procurement/sourcing experience, heavily focused on the Request for Proposal process and vendor management
- Experience with data modeling, dashboard visualization, and presentation; ability to assist in the design of systems and processes for efficient data collection and storage
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office 365 suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive improvement across the organization directly and horizontally across our branches
- Comfort with presenting to executive and senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
