Set up production lines including tooling and ancillary equipment as required to ensure that extruders are run at their optimum working conditions
Contribute to the efficient production performance by maintaining the correct process conditions to achieve specified machine speed, uptime and recovery while maintaining a consistent level of quality.
Contribute to task specific training of members in own team and review of all plant processes and procedures
Implement and achieve the production plan set for the shift by TL/master scheduler
Contribute to the Continuous Improvement of equipment, systems and people by sharing process knowledge and skill. This will include suggesting improvements to ensure that documentation is promptly updated.
Responsible for ensuring tool changes are conducted are in safe and timely manner and tooling is stored as per company procedures.
Troubleshooting process problems as they arise, following up as required if unable to solve the problem within set time frames.

Previous experience as a Plastics Technician is required (min 2 years)
