Administer SharePoint and related KM environments, including permissions, site structure, libraries, and document control.
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining knowledge management (KM) strategies to improve information sharing and collaboration across PACAF and ACC mission areas.
Maintain and update KM systems such as SharePoint, APAN, event portals, and After Action Review/Lessons Learned (AAR/LL) databases.
Track and report KM usage metrics to measure effectiveness of collaboration tools and support continuous improvement.
Support records and information management in accordance with DoD and Air Force policies, ensuring information is accurate , accessible, and secure.
Provide user assistance and basic training on KM tools, document repositories, and collaboration systems.
Assist in developing and maintaining virtual communities of interest to promote collaboration, share lessons learned, and capture best practices across organizations.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of information and data exchange between systems.
Identify and suggest improvements to enhance usability and efficiency of KM environments .
Support the deployment, configuration, and customization of SharePoint sites, ensuring proper functionality, user access, and compliance with security standards.

Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergencies.
Experience supporting Air Force or Joint Command information environments, including APAN or DoD SharePoint.
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint administration, content management, and permissions control.
Working knowledge of DoD records management policies, metadata tagging, and data access controls.
Ability to organize information logically and maintain consistency in records and document libraries.
Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
Understanding of information governance, taxonomy design, or workflow automation within SharePoint.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative platforms (Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
1–3 years of experience supporting information management, collaboration platforms, or KM environments within the DoD or a similar organization.
Experience assisting with KM metrics, dashboards, or knowledge capture processes.
Bachelor’s degree in I nformation S ystems , Knowledge Management, Communications, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
