Maintain accurate hourly timekeeping records, vacation and time off requests
Plan, coordinate, prioritize, assign, supervise, implement and review maintenance and repair activities to automotive testing equipment, facility equipment and buildings in support of ongoing operations
Develop maintenance strategies, programs and make improvements to existing policies
Comply with the collective bargaining agreement, Canadian Electrical Code, TSSA, corporate policies and other applicable regulations in the organization and execution of maintenance activities

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance/Electrician Lead to join our team supporting our client in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Electrical Safety Code, OH&SA Regulations relating to industrial maintenance activities
5-10 years of troubleshooting automated equipment with preference to automotive assembly or automotive component testing would be a benefit
Valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record
Experience in a unionized labour environment
Must be willing and able to travel domestically and to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date
Strong project management, organizational, teamwork, written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software, ability to learn and operate other computer-based and web-based programs
Diploma for Electrical Engineering technologist or a licensed electrician (442A)
