Description
The Controller is responsible for overseeing the entire accounting function at Enscicon, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with its financial reporting and internal controls.
Identifies and manages outsourced applications development
Manages company tax and regulatory compliance
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
Oversees and drives corporate P&L
Conducts monthly closing entries and accruals
Reviews company strategic and individual dashboards on a quarterly basis
Manages the organizations operations, assets, expenses, and infrastructure
Complies with multiple State employer taxes payment
Oversees corporate accounting, payroll, and all day-to-day high volume transactions
Maintains the primary relationships with Bank, CPA, and Insurance Broker
Manages the new and existing software systems and applications including Bullhorn maintenance
Manage day-to-day accounting activities: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, multi-state payroll, treasury, fixed assets, revenue recognition, etc.
Coordinates tax return preparation with CPA firm
Provides information to corporate CPA to prepare Enscicon annual financial review
Prepares and analyzes financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to CEO, President, and EMT to aid in decision-making for growth strategies, pricing actions, and business development activities
Hire, develop, and lead the accounting team
Manages personnel and operations in support of achieving annual plan financials and operational targets
Ensures adequate facilities, Telecom, IT (Networks, Desktop support and applications)
Manages accounting staff of 3+ employees
Delivers strategic vision and management of business operations to achieve corporate initiatives
Reports bank covenant and borrowing base
Coordinates partners tax planning at year end
Oversees employee set up: computers, telephone, user accounts, etc.
Works with broker to analyze and secure workers compensation, general liability, umbrella insurance, and health insurance coverage
Collaborates with CEO, President, the Executive Management Team to develop annual budget plans that support the organizational and operational growth of Enscicon
Reviews budget versus actual analysis for weekly and monthly evaluation
