The HSE Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the department, responding to inquiries from employees, vendors, agencies and managers. Offshore experience is considered a strong advantage.
Key duties include implementing health, safety and environmental programs, executing incident response and injury management processes, and liaising with supervisors and staff to provide HSE guidance. The role requires establishing communication lines for regulatory compliance, conducting regular safety audits, participating in customer audits, delivering training, facilitating safety committees, and ensuring timely submission of HSE reports while maintaining policy documentation.
Required competencies include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams, professional telephone and personal demeanor, strong verbal and written English communication, excellent organization and attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively across all staff levels.
Candidates should have 3‑5 years of HSE experience, preferably with offshore exposure, a high school diploma or equivalent, and OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification; additional OSHA trainer or advanced certifications are preferred.
Physical demands involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, continuous use of vision, hearing, twisting and talking, occasional lifting up to 30 lb, and long hours of computer work.
