Performs field survey activities compliant with standards set by the company.
Participates in a team environment to achieve team/company goals and project milestones.
Works closely with survey crew chief and site team to ensure complete and accurate survey data collection, correct staking, and proper work flow is being done.
Provide field support to other crews as needed.
Complies with all policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and environment.
Ensures survey UTV are kept clean, organized, stocked, and receive routine maintenance at the proper intervals.
Maintains and organizes survey supplies.
Provides technical support while working independently under the direction of the crew chief.
Utilizes survey equipment to check grading elevations to design, record as built data of installed cable, measure quantities of materials, etc.
Maintains/ upkeeps survey equipment and coordinates calibrations and routine maintenance.
Utilizes survey equipment to stake or pin fences, silt fence, berms, roads, pile, electrical trenches, project boundaries, etc.

Ability to lift, carry, and use survey equipment/supplies, some equipment/supplies weighing up to 50+ pounds.
Must be willing to travel to location of jobsite.
Ability to work in urban and rural sites/roadways both containing flat or uneven terrain.
Must have construction staking and topographic survey experience.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Valid state issued driver’s license and clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
Ability to cut and clear brush/trees as needed to complete survey duties.
Basic computer skills (AutoCAD/Civil 3d experience a plus)
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, squat, climb, and reach while surveying and operating surveying equipment.
Ability to work outdoors including extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
Operates and has knowledge of survey equipment functions, capabilities, and limitations.
Must be able to pass a drug screening.
