Carry out monthly Management Safety Visits and ensure all safety observations and near misses are logged on AIMS
Be the primary point of contact for Equans on site, providing effective communication with the school clients and ensuring a good relationship is maintained
Provide assistance to the Soft Services Operations Manager in provision of site information, e.g. drawings, measurements
Provide support in emergency situations, such as fire evacuations, operate a fire panel / system
Attend all meetings, as directed by the Soft Services Operations Manager, with the SPV and Authority
Line manage all Premise Officers across the Birmingham Schools BSF portfolio
Ensure all jobs are logged on the helpdesk
Assist the Soft Services Operations Manager with total site compliance, collating paperwork ensuring it is accurate, up to date and always ‘audit ready’, assisting with remedial works
Work flexibly, providing occasional overtime and weekend cover for lettings and additional school periods
Ensure all Authority Damage paperwork is signed and provided to the admin team monthly
Review subcontractor RAMS and ensure company procedures are adhered to
To complete monthly reports and submit to the Soft Services Operations Manager on the first working day of each calendar month
Report sickness and absence, manage holiday allowance and ensure site always has adequate cover - ensure management of staff turnover
Manage the open jobs for your site(s), ensuring timely closure on all helpdesk events, to avoid any financial penalties due to over-running allocated time thresholds
Ensure site teams training and Toolbox Talks are up to date
Carry out weekly statutory PPM’s, ensure accurate recording
