- Investigate quality issues relating to production non-conformances.
- Coordinate site visits with outside calibration vendors.
- Disposition and contain non-conforming product in a timely manner.
- Verify that product quality standards and UL requirements are met.
- Implement corrective actions for gages that do not meet ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Oversee the Calibration System and maintain the calibration database in SAP.
- Help implement and streamline quality system practices to comply with ISO 9001 standard.
- Accurately report relevant facts & evidence.
- Make recommendations on inspection, productivity, tracking, reporting and/or scrap improvements, to improve current quality standards.
- Train Production Operators in the techniques to use inspection gages, destructive test procedures, and standard work requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to always provide a safe working environment.
- Utilize underlying root cause analysis tools. Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Communicate with suppliers to improve consistent incoming quality.
- Control QMS documents (including procedures, work instructions, and process parameters).
- Ensure inspection status is clearly identified.
- Document findings and alert non-conformances to production Operator, Supervisor, and Quality Engineer.
- Perform fit, functional and dimensional inspections of product assemblies in accordance with inspection instructions and RACO drawing specifications.

- Ability to organize and interpret data.
- Ability to interpret work instructions, drawings, specifications, visual standards.
- Calibration experience with measurement equipment and gages conforming to ISO/IEC 17025 is desired.
- Efficient attention to pertinent detail.
- Prior experience in a dynamic, high volume production environment is required.
- Prior experience implementing QMS compliant framework to ISO9001 is required.
- Self-motivated and energetic with good time management skills.
- High school graduate plus two years technical degree or ASQ-CQT cert is required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing daily priorities.
- Good communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal team-building skills.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in computer operation (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SAP).
- Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment.
