  • Build and maintain a qualified database of prospects and drive leads through the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) pipeline.
  • Connect with former Sciens owners, gather informal testimonials and video content that can be used in outreach communications.
  • Work with marketing to execute strategic outreach campaigns (digital and direct) to M&A target segments.
  • Conduct market mapping and industry analysis to identify sectors and companies of interest.
  • Monitor competitors, trends, and emerging technologies to uncover strategic opportunities.
  • Manage M&A employee referral program.
  • Send automated and direct outreach campaigns (digital and calling) to vet and qualify potential acquisitions.
  • Manage new tools/platforms for additional insight into potential targets.
  • Manage the M&A pipeline, research and source missing information.
  • Coordinate M&A plans for industry events, including identifying and inviting prospects ahead of each event.

  • Fire & life safety experience preferred.
  • Three (3)+ years’ experience in M&A deal sourcing for a strategic or private equity buyer.
  • Strong analytical and research skills; comfortable with financial statements and valuation concepts.
  • Strong, positive culture contributor with the ability to collaborate and influence.
  • Experience with HubSpot strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Well-versed in M&A pipeline management.
  • Ability to connect directly will owners and generate industry engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
