Tasks

-Design, develop, and document a variety of project types across different phases -Support design projects with strong design thinking, high-quality imagery, thorough design research, and detailed project documentation -Create compelling graphic communications that clearly convey complex conceptual design ideas to clients and colleagues -Produce high-quality graphic communications such as plan drawings, details, sketches, system diagrams, riser details, and other visuals to convey audiovisual systems design intent

What You Bring

-Minimum of 7 years of experience in audiovisual systems design, including room automation, digital signage, performance audio systems, cinema (digital and 35mm), classroom and conference room systems, building-wide AV signal distribution, and recording and broadcast systems -CTS or CTS-D certification highly preferred -A basic understanding of building systems and construction techniques -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Music Technology, Sound/Projection Design, or a related engineering or AV technology field -Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD -Experience in the AEC industry (Architecture/Engineering/Construction); deep knowledge in building science -Collaborate effectively in a team setting while also managing tasks independently in a creative environment -LEED AP and proficiency in sustainable building design a plus -Proficiency in computer modeling and rendering software -Demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills -Intermediate-level skills and demonstrated experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign -Active involvement and recognition in the national professional AV community, with extensive knowledge of current AV standards and practices
