This position reports to the Quality Manager and focuses on ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Key duties include assisting supervisors with quality follow‑ups, sampling and evaluating material against specifications, performing random audits of stamped parts and laminations, conducting Epstein testing, creating process documents, using various measuring devices, learning VMM/CMM programming, basic statistical analysis, laboratory procedures, and managing non‑conforming material through an Access database and rework.
The role requires strong measurement interpretation, effective communication and people skills, basic computer knowledge, high‑level math abilities, and flexibility to work overtime shifts as needed.
The candidate must obtain Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and a CQI (Certified Quality Inspector) certification within two years, and have at least three years of relevant experience.
