To be able to lay-out duct for installation and look ahead to keep work going smoothly.
Needs to be able to do Quality Control to make sure that all HVAC inline Mechanical Devices are installed according to Manufactures Instructions.

Needs to know Air flow of systems as far as—Supply; Return; Exhaust.
Must be capable of spotting unsafe situations and correcting them as needed.
Capable of reading not only duct work drawings, but Architectural drawings to locate rooms, ceiling elevations, columns.
Needs to adhere to all EAS safety policies and regulations.
Able to understand all aspects of HVAC installation.
Needs to be able to work with other Trades in a Professional manner to correct any conflicts that may arise.
Requires working in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels.
Be able to continue job if Superintendent is not available
Have knowledge of Welding and fabrication of supports for equipment.
Has to be able to sketch fitting for duct connections. Have knowledge of signals for rigging, and setting HVAC equipment with cranes, boom trucks, lulls, and forklifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Be dependable and able to work different areas at a time with 4-5 people in each group.
Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
This Position requires a minimum of five (5) years of Sheet Metal experience
Courses in construction safety are a requirement.
