This is an internship role for a Safety Intern at The Weitz Company. The Safety Intern will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of safety programs, conducting safety inspections, supporting compliance with safety regulations, and participating in safety training sessions. The intern will also assist with incident investigations and the preparation of safety reports. This is an on-site role located in Denver, CO.

- Ability to conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to participate in and support safety training sessions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of incident investigation and report preparation
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Currently enrolled in an Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or Construction Management/Engineering Field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements
Hourly Pay for duration of Internship - $20-24/hr.
