• Lead change management initiatives, including union consultations.

Requirements

• Experience in recruitment and workforce planning, including employer branding and talent pipeline development.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is required
• Excellent knowledge of employment practices, processes, and relevant employment legislation.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification/experience
• Previous experience in managing apprenticeship schemes and a sound understanding of the apprenticeship levy framework
• Ability to engage effectively with trade unions and manage labour relations issues.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information, with a focus on compliance and governance.
• Proficient in leveraging HR analytics and insights to inform decision-making and strategic approaches.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programs or implementing learning strategies to build capability.
• Ability to shape and drive HR strategy in alignment with organisational goals, influencing culture and long-term workforce planning.
• Capability to engage, negotiate, and influence at senior levels.
• Strong understanding of organisational priorities and the capability to integrate HR initiatives into the overall business strategy.
