Description

The Site HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering all HR services that support a safe, productive, and engaged workforce for their assigned site(s). This role works closely with plant leadership to drive operational performance while ensuring consistent application of HR policies, compliance standards, and talent practices across the organization. It supports employee relations, staffing, training, performance management, and culture‑building initiatives in a manufacturing environment that operates both day and overnight shifts.

• Serve as primary HR liaison for site leadership, aligning HR strategies with production, quality, safety, and workforce stability.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing, and organizational design; partner with Talent Acquisition to hire hourly, skilled trades, and salaried roles.
• Oversee employee relations, including coaching leaders, conducting investigations, and resolving workplace issues across all shifts.
• Manage onboarding, desk setup, new‑hire integration, and implement retention strategies based on turnover trends.
• Coordinate site training and compliance programs with the corporate training team.
• Guide leaders through performance reviews, corrective actions, development plans, and coach managers on leadership and engagement.
• Ensure consistent application of policies, performance standards, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Administer HR processes such as attendance, leaves of absence, accommodations, and personnel records; support unemployment claims and legal matters.
• Partner with EHS to support safety initiatives, incident response, and workers’ compensation processes.
• Maintain accurate HR metrics and dashboards, using data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Apply knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HCM systems to drive data‑informed decisions.

Requirements

The position is primarily desk‑based (80‑95%) with occasional light physical tasks such as lifting up to 10 pounds and standard office motions including sitting, stooping, and repetitive hand movements. Employees must meet visual acuity requirements for data analysis and reading, and work within an indoor environment. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent extensive experience).
• Possess 5–8 years of progressive HR experience in high‑volume manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated employee‑relations expertise, including investigations and leader coaching.
• Proven ability to partner with operations leaders in fast‑paced, high‑volume settings.
• Preferred: HR certification (SHRM‑CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) and experience in multi‑shift manufacturing.
