New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness.
May be required to lift up to 45 lbs. or team lift.
Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
Understanding and ability to safely work in a potentially explosive environment.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
May be required to use a pallet jack, forklift, lift/jib crane and/or any other material handling equipment.
Previous exposure to a machine shop, foundry or sheet metal shop.
Associate degree or vocational training in mechanical inspection, manufacturing technology or related field desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience whereby requisite knowledge, skills and abilities have been demonstrated.
Job specific training modules deemed necessary by the employee’s Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis.
Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work independently and proactively.
2+ years of experience working in a quality related field.
