Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement efforts
Ensure designs meet industry codes and certifications (ASME, UL, AHRI, IIAR, Title 24)
Lead NPD and VA/VE initiatives to improve performance, cost, and standardization
Lead design reviews and act as the technical authority for assigned product lines
Design and develop coil and heat transfer products from concept through production
Produce and approve complete engineering documentation and 3D models
Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Product teams

Working knowledge of HVAC&R industry codes and standards
Ability to lead technically and influence without direct authority
Hands-on experience designing pressure-containing equipment
Exposure to electrical systems or controls at a system level
Experience with CFD, FEA, or advanced thermal modeling tools
Own thermal-fluid, structural, and manufacturability decisions for new and existing designs
Proficiency with 3D CAD and ability to interpret CFD/FEA results
PE or EIT credentials
Deep knowledge of heat transfer and thermal-fluid systems
Strong background in coil/heat exchanger design within HVAC/R or industrial cooling
