Field Project Manager

Description

• Develop scope of work documents, budgets, schedules, and implementation plans.
• Coordinate project requirements with clients to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with Project/Program Managers on schedule, budget, and staffing; monitor progress.
• Anticipate staffing needs, select personnel, and conduct performance appraisals.
• Create project documents, processes, and procedures to ensure quality control.
• Establish and communicate a project safety plan; enforce safety, security, and quality policies.
• Work with procurement to acquire qualified vendors and coordinate supply support.
• Plan material requirements, identify long‑lead items, and manage purchasing for field teams.
• Implement site security measures and monitor subcontractor access.
• Chair regular job meetings, prepare progress summaries, and submit reports to clients and management.
• Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors; document and execute changes.
• Review bid documents and assist with bidder solicitation activities.
• Identify problems, collaborate on corrective actions, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and project documentation.

Requirements

Parsons is seeking a talented Field Project Manager to plan and execute all aspects of assigned projects, from developing scope of work documents and budgets to overseeing implementation plans and client deliverables. The role collaborates closely with Project or Program Managers to establish schedules, budgets, and staffing, while ensuring safety, quality, and timely communication with stakeholders.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
