- Work with other engineers to create manufacturing documentation for cable, crimp, soldering, and harness build efforts.
- Participate in component selection and design reviews for flight and EGSE harnessing.
- Develop electrical wiring interconnect systems (EWIS) and wire harness designs for spacecraft.
- Create schematics, 3D/2D drawings, and technical documentation using CAD tools like AutoCAD or CREO.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to aerospace standards like Mil-Aerospace or NASA.
- Produce technical documentation, wire lists, ICDs, and reports to support fabrication, integration, and testing.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline in electronics.
- Knowledge of spaceflight hardware requirements for testing and integration.
- Experience overseeing harness design efforts from vendors or other engineers.
- Experience with tools such as Creo, AutoCAD, or ORCAD.
- Experience in wire harness design for spaceflight harness applications.
- Proficiency in using CAD for schematics and wire harness routing.
- Complete electronics/avionics integration.
- Understanding of spaceflight hardware EGSE systems.
- Familiarity with soldering, harness design, cable assembly, and crimping.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience, including significant experience with flight harnesses for spaceflight, spacecraft, or satellite applications.
