Leading skilled-trade support staff and contractors to meet daily plant Automation needs.
Coordinating all in-house Automation repairs and upgrades, including those related to plant controls for mining operations.

Supporting existing systems via a 24/7 on-call rotation with other automation support personnel.

Using and maintaining standards developed by Automation Engineering.
Actively researching potential upgrades in automation and fine-tune existing plant to improve safety, efficiencies, plant capacities, consistency, availability and reporting.

A valid US driver’s license
2-year technical degree in electrical technology, plc programming or comparable experience.
Experience leading a team is preferred.
Highly skilled at troubleshooting 120V AC and 24V DC control systems.
The ability to work in a variety of environments.
2 years PLC Control Work.
Must be a person with the ability to work with people at different levels and train people.
8+ years electrical troubleshooting experience required
Adherence to Martin Marietta, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times.
Have 3Ph/480 electrical troubleshooting experience.
Have experience working on and troubleshooting 4-20ma or I/O ling, full voltage starters, VFDs, and soft starts.
Ability to travel overnight 20-30% of the time with flexible work hours as needed.
Experience working on level detection sensors, scales, VFDs, and soft starts.
Aggregate or Mining experience is preferred.
