OHLE Operatives

Description

• Ensure that all safe systems of work, procedures and standards for carrying out work are followed
• Forge close working relationships with other staff members, supervisors, executives and 3rd party contractors
• Assists with scheduled works, preventative maintenance, unscheduled works, faults and emergencies and project installations
• Ensure familiarization with the company’s rule book
• If they observe any safety hazards or accidents at a location or depot, they must follow the SMS and report any incidents
• Must work with any Contractors and staff from other departments when required
• Maintenance and isolation of the rail systems throughout the whole project, including all Depots, Sidings, and run-off sections
• Comply with SET safety management system and standards

Requirements

• Communications skills
• Good communication skills
• Must be willing and capable of working alone when required
• Have/attain up-to-date PTS, TSC, ES and Safe Pass cards
• Specialist Knowledge
• knowledge of site safety
• Experience working as a TSC
• Full clean driving license
• On-site supervision experience
• Working knowledge of the rule book
