The Lighting Analyst I performs duties to complete lighting system surveys and support the design of lighting retrofits. This role is essential for delivering energy‑efficient solutions to ENFRA’s clients.
The analyst becomes proficient with ENFRA’s lighting survey process, conducts on‑site surveys, and accurately interprets labels, maps, drawings, and instructions. Survey data is downloaded, reviewed, and documented in Excel, detailing existing fixture types and controls. Based on this information, the analyst develops retrofit recommendations, builds detailed lighting models to assess power densities, energy costs, and potential savings, and prepares comprehensive narratives and documentation for proposed scopes of work. Ongoing responsibilities include reviewing product submittals, attending training, participating in industry events, and upholding the highest ethical standards.
Candidates should have 2‑3 years of electrical design, certification, or lighting experience from a technical school or skilled trades program. Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with technology for data collection and analysis, and the ability to evaluate hazardous site conditions are required. Effective time management, independent work habits, and a detail‑oriented approach in a fast‑paced environment are essential.
Preferred credentials include an Electrical Apprentice background, NCQLP Lighting Certification (LC), Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP), and Certified Lighting Management Consultant (CLMC).
