Read specifications from technical documents and prepare equipment for test setup.
Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers, troubleshoot, and document data.
Verify, review, document, and upload test data to the MJO or RegDox folder.
Remove test articles, pack for return shipment, and notify office of weight and dimensions.
Return test equipment and tools to storage to maintain a clean test facility.
Assist with shipping and receiving procedures.
Assist with equipment calibration and keep calibrated equipment current.
Complete basic technical and mechanical procedures under close supervision.
Assist with basic troubleshooting, test interpretation, and result analysis.

HS Diploma or GED, military training in electronics, or technical certification in electronics.
0–3 years of experience.
Understand AC/DC circuits and work safely with high voltage.
Comfortable with client interaction.
Comprehensive knowledge of electronic test equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
Working knowledge of basic safety practices.
Basic mechanical skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Benefits

The primary function of the technician is to perform electrical/electronic, mechanical and maintenance tasks in support of test, prototype fabrication, research and development projects under the supervision of a senior technician and engineering personnel. Salary: $25- $30/hr DOE.
