The Staff Account Executive reports to the VP of Global Sales and is responsible for building a channel‑driven pipeline of utility‑scale solar and storage developer accounts across selected U.S. markets. The role focuses on establishing and expanding relationships with high‑potential strategic customers and converting partner opportunities into long‑term, upsellable accounts for Stem’s Software Division.
Key responsibilities include meeting aggressive sales targets, delivering EMS Edge and Cloud solutions to renewable developers, collaborating with product, marketing, operations, and delivery teams, and representing Stem at industry events. The executive also drives lead‑generation campaigns, maintains sales tools such as NetSuite and Jira, and manages opportunities through the full sales cycle with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should have 8‑10 years of experience selling complex, high‑ticket technical solutions with a strong record of quota attainment. Required skills include executive‑level selling, negotiation, accurate forecasting, and proficiency in established sales methodologies. Preference is given to those with a background in solar and storage project development, grid interconnection, financing, and ITC mechanics.
The position offers a salary range of $94,960 to $142,440, plus eligibility for performance‑based bonus or commission and equity participation.
