Coordinate and provide secretariat support for bus safety meetings involving internal and external stakeholders.
Organise annually and biennially the Bus Safety Roadshow and Public Transport Safety and Security Award Day respectively.
Attend to feedback/ complaints/ suggestions from commuters, bus operators, and members of public on matters pertaining to bus safety operational matters.
Conduct statistical analysis of public bus accidents to generate management reports for safety improvement and mitigation measure recommendations.
Arrange public engagements/ initiatives on bus safety to raise awareness and create educational materials for community groups and schools.
Conduct Bus Safety audits, Quality of Service audits, Fare Evasion audits and Incident Management audits, to ensure adherence to established standards.
Curate quarterly Bus Safety Bulletins to highlight emerging public bus safety issues, industry best practices, and proposed mitigation measures.
