The Field Coordinator must understand construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders, and support the project team in these areas. They respond to inquiries about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders, while maintaining professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key duties include assisting with change order preparation and cost control, administering the project quality management plan, participating in risk management, and developing procurement schedules aligned with the project CPM schedule. The role also involves supporting the project management plan, interpreting contracts and specifications, managing project documentation, performing material takeoffs, and procuring necessary materials and equipment.
Candidates should have at least two years of construction experience, with a preference for MEP experience, and an associate degree or equivalent training. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and Microsoft Office skills are required.
The position requires wearing personal protective equipment and performing physical tasks such as reaching, lifting, climbing, and walking throughout the shift. It is classified as safety‑sensitive, demanding strict adherence to safety standards and procedures.
