Select and recommend procedures, security devices and equipment, write specifications covering all low voltage technology system matters, perform reviews, and work directly with owners as a part of project team
Independently perform low voltage technology/electrical engineering assignments with broad general instruction from Project Manager as to the results expected
Design and specify low voltage technology systems including but not limited to technology systems with structured cabling, outside plant and fiber optic systems
Conduct QA/QC on work of other Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed
Assist other Designers, Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and be responsible for work in all phases of low voltage technology design process
Take responsibility for complete set of construction documents
Evaluate, select and apply state-of-the-art low voltage technology system, techniques, procedures, design and modifications

Familiarity with Autodesk platforms.
RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) certification
Ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
A minimum of 10 years experience in low-voltage system design
Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, Autodesk, SpecsIntact
Understand medical technology systems design such as nurse call, patient EETV, physiological monitoring, EMS radio and distributed antenna systems
